MACHINE OPERATOR

Electronic machine operators, also known as machine operators, are responsible for safely and efficiently operating machinery during production.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up and operate Automatic and Semi-Automatic machines for operation.
• Using specialty machinery, such as feeding raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines
• Checking parts for precision using measuring tools, and output for flaws
• Keeping records of approved and defective units, and maintaining activity logs
• Works from process sheets or written instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks
• Checks and inspects operations against predetermined tolerances.
• Follow all Company Safety and ESD Program requirements. Responsible for reporting all accidents, near misses unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Properly handle and dispose of all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by applicable SOP(s).

 Education and Experience:

• High School or GED
• Experience Machine Operator
• 6 months minimum experience in contract manufacturing
