Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems ranging from 480V to 120V. The role involves diagnosing and repairing motors, motor starters, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, breakers, and control panels. You will also perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and verify zero-energy states, while reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 480V, 277V, 240V, and 120V systems.
Diagnose and repair motors, motor starters, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, breakers, and control panels.
Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and verify zero-energy states.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including I/O, power supplies, and communication issues.
Identify faults in control logic and collaborate with engineering/controls teams.
Work with Allen‑Bradley platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC‑5, SLC 500) or Siemens.
Essential Skills
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
5+ years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in chemical or process manufacturing.
Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and control schematics.
Skilled with testing equipment such as multimeters, meggers, and clamp meters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; technical/trade schooling is a plus.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and PLC systems.
Knowledge in conduit, field service, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Preventive maintenance experience.

Work Environment
Work in a dirty and hot environment where PPE is required at all times, including hazmat suits, respirators, safety boots, and glasses. Openings are available for 1st and 3rd shifts.
