Salary: $39-$41.25 per hour base + $5.09 Hourly Fringe Benefits

Employment Type: Direct Hire/Permanent

Schedule: M-F 7AM-3PM

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of critical federal facilities. This role is ideal for experienced electricians who take pride in maintaining complex electrical systems, troubleshooting issues efficiently, and supporting safe, reliable facility operations in a mission-focused environment.

  • Responsibilities:Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment including generators, transformers, motors, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, and conduit systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of electrical equipment and systems
  • Respond to and complete Demand Maintenance Orders (DMOs) in a timely manner
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, layouts, and engineering drawings
  • Diagnose electrical issues and determine effective repair solutions
  • Utilize electrical hand tools, testing equipment, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable safety standards and electrical codes
  • Support overall facility operations and assist with additional maintenance duties as needed
  • Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of journey-level electrician experience
  • Valid Texas Driver s License required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain military/federal facility access credentials
  • Strong understanding of National Electric Code (NEC) standards
  • Working knowledge of NFPA codes and standards including NFPA 70, 99, 101, and 110
  • Experience working from blueprints, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics
  • Previous experience responding to maintenance work orders or DMOs preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments
  • On-call rotation required
  • Work may be performed in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Exposure to machinery, electrical systems, varying temperatures, dust, noise, and weather conditions may occur
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance activities as needed
