Maintenance Engineer

Privately-owned manufacturing plant in the greater Morristown area has immediate opening for a Maintenance Engineer. This role will focus heavily on PLC / HMI troubleshooting along with other Controls projects. The Maintenance Engineer will also be involved in project engineering functions for building expansion, new equipment installation, and process improvement projects. This is a well-run, family-focused manufacturing plant that has an excellent reputation in their industry. Looking for candidates who are self-starters with initiative who can ensure Maintenance projects are properly completed. There is a focus on implementing preventative maintenance systems, but reactive maintenance is still necessary. The Maintenance Engineer will lead a team of 6 Maintenance Techs. Qualified candidates will have a BS or AS degree (ME / MET / EE preferred) along with at least 5 years plant engineering / maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of PLC's (Allen-Bradley or Siemens) is a MUST have. Relocation assistance is available. This is an excellent work environment with a stable, profitable company.
