    Description

    Moss & Company is currently looking for a Maintenance Lead, for some of properties in San Fernando Valley area with extensive experience new construction residential/multifamily properties, supervising a team, and taking care of the company asset(s).The PositionAs the Maintenance Lead , you are responsible in overseeing the day-to-day efforts of the maintenance team to meet all the residents/property needs.Key Responsibilities:Lead and provide direction to the maintenance teamAssign, monitor, and evaluate work performance for techniciansOversee unit preparation, repairs, and turnsManage maintenance budget, inventory, and expensesCoordinate with vendors on large-scale repairs and capital projectsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesParticipate in city, building, lender, and bank inspectionsTrain team members and share knowledge in maintenance proceduresMaintain familiarity with property layout and systems (e.g., emergency exits, shut-off valves)Collaborate closely with the property management team to address resident concernsPerform hands-on maintenance tasks as neededCarry out additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications:3–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in properties with 500+ units2–3 years managing a team of 4–5 maintenance professionalsStrong expertise in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc.Proficiency in Yardi, Google Suite, and related softwareHighly organized with strong attention to detailCustomer-focused and team-oriented mindsetAbility to multitask, prioritize, and work independentlyFamiliarity with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations preferredPhysical Requirements:Frequent movement around the property, including stairsRegular bending, lifting, reaching, and physical laborAbility to lift/carry up to 25 lbs. (occasionally), 5 lbs.
