We are on the hunt for a talented and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, and basic tools and appliances. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.RequirementsProficient reading and writing skillsBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systemsDemonstrated experience as a maintenance technicianPhysically capable of lifting 50 poundsStrong understanding of general maintenance processes and methodsExperienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand toolsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devicesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent manual dexterity and problem‑solving skillsResponsibilitiesPerform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on fitness equipmentPerform basic building maintenance and repairsMust have reliable transportation to oversee multiple locationsHave own tools is a plus but can possibly provide for the right candidateMust be fluent in EnglishMust be able to read and write in EnglishPhysical FactorsPrimarily sitting at a computer workstation with occasional bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, walking and lifting up to 50 poundsTypical Working Conditions will include inside work at the corporate office or onsite at a club facilityHigh school diploma or equivalent qualificationCertificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is preferredA minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar roleIn-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systemsAdvanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniquesPhysically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and eveningsEffective problem‑solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be well‑organized and have the ability to prioritize tasksCrunch Fitness is looking for energetic, enthusiastic people that are passionate about health and fitness to join our team.Looking to combine work, fitness and fun?
