Experience: 3+ years of people leadership experience or advanced degree in nursing leadership in lieu of experience. At least 2 years of specialty inpatient experience.
License: Active RN license required.
Certifications: BLS required.
Must-Have: Bachelor's degree in nursing required. Informal leadership experience is preferred (e.g., charge RN, clinical educator, preceptor).
Description: This role is responsible for ensuring that services and programs provided through the assigned department/unit are child and family-focused. The services must be clinically appropriate and operationally efficient. The Patient Care Manager will directly manage nursing staff and assist in the leadership of clinical support staff. They must be willing to float between different locations as needed. Variable shifts with occasional evening/night work may be required depending on operational needs. The Patient Care Manager is accountable for achieving effective patient outcomes. They will ensure adherence to policies and protocols to maintain high standards of care. Candidates must commit to working a minimum of 7 weekends within a 12-13 week assignment. Travel experience is preferred but not required. References are not required, but providing 1-2 can help candidates stand out.
