Description
Join A Growing Manufacturing Organization
Serve as a key financial partner to operations while leading accounting activities related to inventory, cost accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close. This role offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to drive process improvements within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Oversee inventory accounting including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Manage standard costing and product costing processes
Analyze labor, material, overhead, and purchase price variances
Support physical inventories and cycle count programs
Partner with plant leadership to improve operational performance and profitability
Prepare financial reporting, reconciliations, and management analysis
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost reduction initiatives
Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
Utilize ERP systems to support manufacturing and accounting operations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of manufacturing, plant accounting, or cost accounting experience
Strong understanding of:
Inventory Accounting
Standard Costing
WIP
BOMs
Manufacturing Variances
Cost Analysis
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Dynamics, Infor, Epicor, or QAD
Advanced Excel skills
CPA preferred but not required
