Overview Division Manager @ Professional Search Group - OC is seeking a Manufacturing Controller to join their client's dynamic team. The Manufacturing Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes and improve operational efficiency. The Manufacturing Controller serves as a key business partner to plant leadership, providing financial insights that drive efficiency, profitability, and compliance. This position reports to the CFO with a dotted line to a General Manager.This organization is a company with over 100 years in the construction industry. Since 1923, they have become one of the premier construction contractors in Southern California, building infrastructure including airports, seaports, rail and intermodal, military/federal, roads, highways, and specialty projects.Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yrEmployee highlights Compensation range of $140-$170k annually, plus discretionary annual bonusCompetitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision with affordable employee share of premiums, and company provided disability and life insurance401K with 4% employer matching and special 2% company contributionsThis position has a defined career pathOther perks such as international hockey, running, soccer & talent competitionsKey Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and product profitability.Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting.Partner with operations leadership to analyze production performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports specific to manufacturing activities.Provide financial forecasting and budget support for manufacturing operations.Analyze capital expenditure requests, ROI, and payback for operational projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency.Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff assigned to manufacturing support.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management.Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.Demonstrated ability to partner with operations leaders to drive financial performance.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Ability to influence and support operational decision-making.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Proven track record of building effective cross-functional partnerships.Additional details Seniority level: ExecutiveEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustries: Manufacturing and ConstructionApply for this amazing opportunity today!Division Manager562-378-0027#J-18808-Ljbffr
