Title: Manufacturing Micro-Assembler
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $33/hr
Benefits as a Tekberry Temp: Paid Bi-weekly, Healthcare (employer contribution), Dental & Vision

Shift Schedule: Day Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Micro-Assembler to work on-site with our client, a top-tier Fortune 1000 electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess strong attention to detail and mechanical abilities;
  • Assemble precision components;
  • Ability to be reliable and detail-oriented;
  • Ability to be independent and work as a team member;
  • Prior experience working with electronics, cabling, and soldering;
  • Be familiar with hand and power tools;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments;
  • Possess a willingness to perform cleaning tasks of equipment;
  • Interpret and understand manufacturing process instructions;
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Help ensure these assemblies are capable of being reliably produced and meet specifications.
  • Assists manufacturing engineering evaluate the manufacturability of new products; provides DFx recommendations.
  • Manage and improve processes to enhance product quality and maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Utilize root cause analysis to ensure all failures are fully understood and can be prevented in the future.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-4 years relevant experience with automated microelectronics assembly equipment.
  • Computer skills, willing to learn and retrieve diagrams from different assembly platforms.
  • Read and understand schematics of various forms, including all symbols and terminology.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Self-starter, ability to work well within teams and individually, proactiv
  • Assist R&D and manufacturing engineering introduce or modify processes, programs or fixtures to produce microelectronic assemblies.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills which lead to root cause. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Able to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail. Able to multi-task and organize workload and assignments. The ability to stand, sit, stoop or bend for at least six hours or more per day; the ability to lift 25 pounds multiple times per day/week; the ability to use a microscope for extended periods of time.
  • Desired: Hands on experience operating and/or programming GPD dispense, MRSI component placement or H&K bonding equipment
  • Demonstrated use of tools and equipment to handle ultra-small parts and assemblies.
  • Demonstrates a high level of manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination. Demonstrated effective written and verbal skills.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
