QA Auditor (Warehouse / Materials Auditing)

Location: Milpitas, CA (Onsite)

Schedule: Day shift (~7:00 AM 4:00 PM) + overtime as needed

Pay Rate: $22$26/hr on W2

Duration: 12-month contract

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Auditor to support material auditing and final quality inspection activities within a fast-paced shipping and warehouse environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all materials, systems, and kits meet quality and accuracy standards prior to shipment.

You'll work closely with a collaborative team and cross-functional partners across manufacturing, production, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform final quality audits on systems, upgrades, and shipping kits prior to release
• Audit materials against Bills of Materials (BOMs) and sales orders in SAP
• Inspect packaging quality, labeling accuracy, and shipment readiness (pallets, crates, etc.)
• Conduct visual checks on parts and components, including sensitive materials
• Track and maintain detailed audit records using Excel and internal systems
• Identify and communicate discrepancies (missing or incorrect materials) to internal teams
• Support material movement and organization within the shipping area
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Production Control, Engineering, and Logistics to resolve issues
• Assist with process improvements, documentation updates, and training support as needed

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of auditing experience (quality, materials, or similar)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Hands-on experience with SAP (materials or order review)
• Proficiency with Excel for tracking and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Background

• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping environment
• Familiarity with quality inspection, packaging standards, or inventory control processes

Work Environment & Expectations

• Warehouse/shipping setting; may be loud and subject to temperature changes
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to sealed materials and packaged fluids (no direct handling required)
• Team-oriented environment (not an independent role)

Schedule & Overtime

This role requires flexibility to meet production demands:

• Typical schedule may extend beyond standard hours
• Frequent overtime expected (up to ~60 hours/week)
• Occasional Saturday shifts as needed
