Job Description: Manufacturing Technician A (Laser Assembly Technician) will focus on Laser Transmitter manufacturing and work within a cleanroom environment performing day-to-day operational needs of the business. This position installs, aligns, and operates laser transmitters and components. He/ She assists in the building techniques to ensure successful product output from the cleanroom and laser operations area.
Essential Functions:
Develop techniques and procedures for building lasers
Assembles and tests optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies.
Completes optical bonding, cleaning, and inspection of laser units with high attention to detail.
Builds wiring harness, solders and performs PCB assembly of electrical and electrooptical subassemblies.
Identifies problems and issues, resolves most issues, and makes recommendations for improvements in yield.
Responsible for ensuring that specified quality standards are met for all tasks completed.
Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
