    Description

    Electrician

    Shipley Energy is looking for an electrician with the following requirements:

    • Master electrician license
    • 8+ years' experience in commercial or residential installation and service
    • Ability to pull permits
    • Proficient at reading and understanding schematics and blueprints
    • Able to be on the "on call" schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Able to read, write, and speak English
    • Valid driver's license: Travel will be required throughout Shipley's geographic coverage in Southeastern/Central PA and Northern MD while in a Shipley provided work vehicle
    • Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity and innovation
    • Furnish own hand tools

    Physical requirements include:

    • Able to lift, pull, and/or push 50 pounds
    • Able to climb ladders and work off scaffolding
    • Able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time

    Responsibilities include:

    • Install, diagnose, and repair any commercial and residential electrical wiring and components (Generac generator install experience preferred)
    • Complete all paperwork according to company procedure and submit daily
    • Diagnosing and submitting part orders for customers, only with approval
    • Provide all customers with consistent, quality service in accordance with company procedure
    • Complete job assignments according to plans and in compliance with all codes and standards
    • Positively promoting the company's products and services, developing equipment leads and selling service contracts
    • Assist other team members to achieve maximum success, safety, and efficiency
    • Maintain required truck inventory as audited
    • Maintain a neat appearance in proper, clean uniform always, as well as your work vehicle
    • Perform all duties in a safe manner ensuring incident-free operations
    • Report any incident or accident as soon as possible to the General Manager and office
    • Maintain all certified testing equipment in proper working order and report any deficiencies
