Apply today and help power the systems that keep our world running.We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Master Scheduler to own and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), serving as the critical connection between customer demand and production capacity. In this role, you will develop and maintain production plans that balance customer commitments, operational efficiency, inventory levels, and resource availability. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to ensure successful execution of production and delivery objectives.What you'll do:Develop, publish, and maintain the Master Production Schedule across short- and long-term planning horizonsAttend project kickoff meetings to understand customer requirements, project milestones, and delivery expectationsCreate and manage TRP schedules aligned with project schedules, contract milestones, and cash flow objectivesLead Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to ensure labor, equipment, and material resources support production requirementsServe as the primary point of contact for delivery commitments, managing customer promise dates and schedule exceptionsOwn and administer schedule change-control processes to maintain schedule stability and operational efficiencyPartner with operations scheduling teams to transition plans into execution and address scheduling variancesLead bi-weekly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, driving alignment across demand, supply, inventory, and capacity planningCollaborate with Purchasing and Materials teams to identify shortages, mitigate risks, and ensure material availabilityMonitor and report key performance metrics including schedule attainment, on-time delivery, inventory levels, backlog, and capacity utilizationMaintain planning parameters within TRP/MRP systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrityReview production estimates, work orders, costs, and completion projections to support operational and financial performanceLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on scheduling accuracy, planning processes, and resource utilizationWhat you bring:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be consideredMinimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, supply chain planning, or a related manufacturing environmentExpertise in production planning, master scheduling, and supply chain operationsStrong understanding of MRP/TRP systems, planning logic, time fences, available-to-promise methodologies, and capacity planningAdvanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and scenario modelingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business decisionsExcellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments and organizational levelsProven ability to influence stakeholders and maintain schedule discipline in a fast-paced environmentExperience facilitating cross-functional meetings and driving alignment among competing prioritiesStrong project management and continuous improvement mindsetAbility to identify risks proactively and develop practical recovery plansDemonstrated leadership without direct authority and a commitment to operational excellenceManufacturing and production planning principlesCapacity planning and resource allocation methodologiesInventory management and supply chain best practicesSales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processesScheduling change-control and schedule governance practicesProduction performance metrics, including schedule attainment and on-time deliveryData analysis, forecasting, and demand planning conceptsERP, MRP, and TRP systems administration and optimizationContinuous improvement methodologies and process standardizationFinancial impacts of production scheduling, project milestones, and operational performanceJoin our team to innovate the future of water and wastewater.
