Description

Material HandlerCACI specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex, state-of-the-art systems for military, space, and commercial applications. We are currently looking for a Material Handler to join our Global Supply Chain Warehouse Operations team. Responsibilities include:Production Order Picking:Pre-stage and stage material kits, deliver material kits to production areaUsing the bill of materials (BOM), verify 100% inventory accuracy of material kits prior to delivery to Manufacturing environmentPerform material transactions in Material Resource Planning (MRP) business application (Infor)Perform regular inventory management including cycle counts, physical inventoryProvide oversight of manufacturing "work in progress"Perform inventory analysis to address material obsolescence and expiredEffectively manage and disposition life limited materialsDrive process discipline and effectively communicate shortfallsStrengthen warehouse operations through sorting, organizing, simplifying, standardizing and visual controlsPackaging, Shipping and Receiving:Execute packaging, shipping, and receiving recurring activitiesPerform material packaging in accordance with Engineering requirements, ensuring adequate part protectionVerify inbound (receiving) material accuracy using pertinent information (purchase order, bill of lading)Partner with Procurement Operations to resolve inbound receiving discrepanciesReceive inbound materials, stock and update business application (Infor) with physical location and quantitiesPerform inbound receipt of serialized/LOT controlled materialsCoordinate and schedule outbound shipments with logistics providersDrive reduction to "dock-to-stock" timeStrengthen warehouse operations through sorting, organizing, simplifying, standardizing and visual controlsQualifications:Required:Detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MRP systems (preferably Infor)Experience in inventory management and controlKnowledge of inbound/outbound logistics and packagingExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentDesired:Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Space industriesSome college education or relevant work experienceUnderstanding of LEAN principlesFamiliarity with serialized/LOT controlled materialsWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
