It serves automotive, aviation, railway, machinery, yacht, and wind power industries.Position OverviewWe are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable Material Planner to join our team. This full‑time, onsite role plays a key role in planning and coordinating material supply from production facilities, warehouses, and external vendors. The Material Planner will collaborate closely with Sales Customer Service, Global Material Planning, Global Purchasing, and external suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations and support customer demand.Key ResponsibilitiesManage MRP for raw materials, intermediates, finished goods, recertification, and batch traceability.Create and report daily deviations to KPI benchmarks and reasons to Supply Chain Manager.Maintain correct master data with SAP.Place, schedule, and monitor purchase orders with internal and external vendors.Plan and order consumables.Schedule and monitor overseas container shipments to Mankiewicz warehouses.Coordinate and monitor inventories.Schedule production and determine optimal batch sizes.Perform make‑or‑buy analysis regarding logistical needs and cost/production factors.Maintain min/max inventory levels.Communicate with Sales, Customer Service, and Sales teams.Reduce days inventory held and amount of expired materials.Ensure on‑time delivery (OTD). 5S and lean management.Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.Perform additional duties as required to meet the mission and goals of Mankiewicz Coatings.Interface FunctionsShipping – coordinate supply needs for raw materials and intermediates.QC, Colorimetric – communicate proper workflow, prioritize orders.Material Planning Hamburg – prioritize, global process standard.Parameters to Increase ProfitabilityOn‑time delivery.Days inventory held.Amount of expired goods.Purchase order shipping cost.Material and consumable cost.Production efficiency (input, output, batch sizes).Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with SAP software (preferred).Experience with systems and procedures such as CIP, FMEA, etc (preferred).Excellent computer proficiency: Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary customer service.Ability to travel domestically and internationally (including vaccination proof if required).Ability to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed routines and standard practices.Physical Requirements / Working ConditionsAbility to safely perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other standards, meeting productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.Requires frequent walking, standing, heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching.Exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.Benefits11 annual company paid holidays.A Tuition Reimbursement Program.A generous 401(k) employer contribution.Paid Time Off (PTO), including vacation and sick days.On-the-job training and skill development.Safe and team‑oriented work environment.Employee recognition program.A generous employee referral bonus.Equal Opportunity StatementMankiewicz Coatings LLC is an Equal Opportunity / Affimate Action Employer.
