Mechanical Assembler

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Mechanical Assemblers to build and assemble commercial units and components according to specifications and quality standards. In this role, you will perform hands-on assembly work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, usingtools and following detailed procedures to ensure product accuracy and efficiency. You will collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

What You'll Do as a Mechanical Assembler:

• Assemble units and components according to engineering drawings and work instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete precise assembly tasks
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality and specification compliance
• Report defects, shortages, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment while following all PPE and safety guidelines
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality

What You Need to Bring:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
