Zenar Corporation Mechanical Assembler/Brake Specialist Oak Creek, WIAPPLY HERE Job Summary
The Assembler will assemble manufactured products according to specifications. Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for all custom brake assemblies.
Assemble various heavy machinery, fabricated metal products.
Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to build to specification.
Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Relevant experience with heavy machinery assembly required.
Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Must have and be able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
Previous experience operating hand tools required.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Detail-oriented, consistent workmanship.
Thorough understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of heavy equipment.
Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery.
Superior skill operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
Works well as a productive member of a team.
Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed including bending, stooping, and reaching.
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
Must wear safety glasses, face shield, gloves, and ear protection.
