Our Burlington office is seeking experienced Mitigation Technicians.Are you an experienced technician looking for a change and or new start. We have a great culture and team. Happy where you are? Nothing ventured nothing gained.Ask about our bonus that is paid after 6 months of fulltime service for all Certified WRT Technicians.Our offices provide disaster restoration expertise and quality customer service following unfortunate events.The PositionWe are looking for a full‑time experienced Mitigation Technician who will be responsible for all aspects of mitigating losses and returning affected properties to pre‑loss condition.This involves physical work, which would include but not be limited to carrying equipment and construction debris. You must be willing to work in dirty environments, where sewage and mould may be present.Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Responding quickly to emergencies such as water, fire, and smoke damage.ServiceMaster pays for IICRC training during business hours.Job RequirementsCommunicate with a wide variety of people.Ability to lift up 50 lbs.Maintain company equipment.Ensure supplies and chemicals are properly stocked.Inspect mitigation project sites to ensure quality controls are met.Maintain company vehicles (includes inspections, maintenance and cleanliness).Prepare contents for inspection by insureds and adjusters.Ensure all mitigation and drying equipment is being utilized to full potential.Additional RequirementsPossess a valid Class G Ontario Drivers license with no restrictions. Able to operate a company‑owned vehicle. Willing to take part in on‑call rotating schedule. Able to work after hours and on holidays when necessary. Able to respond/mobilize to remote locations if necessary during catastrophe events, possible 3‑4 week duration. Willing to submit personal information for a criminal background check.You must have at a minimum IICRC WRT certification.Physical RequirementsThis position requires a high level of physical exertion. Moderate intensity of sensory effort is required.Working ConditionsPossible risk of exposure to adverse working conditions (e.g., mold, asbestos, sewage, trauma, confined space).BenefitsHealth & DentalAfter completion of 90‑day Probationary period.ScheduleMonday to FridayOn‑call requirementsOvertimeHourly rate offered will depend on skills and experience.Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour#J-18808-Ljbffr
