Job Description:

Apex Systems is hiring a Power BI Dashboard Developer for a large Healthcare client.

Location: Remote anywhere in the US, you must be authorized to work without sponsorship.

Role Overview

A dedicated Power BI developer is required to support extensive operational, compliance, quality, and executive reporting capabilities for a RADV Audit Tool. The project vision includes standardized dashboards to provide visibility into audit progress, reviewer productivity, and compliance status. This role will design the reporting data model, create dashboard solutions, implement KPI calculations, and deliver self-service analytics supporting audit operations and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Power BI semantic models and reporting datasets.
• Develop Executive, Operational, Compliance, and Quality dashboards.
• Create KPI calculations and DAX measures.
• Build audit workflow performance metrics.
• Develop drill-through and self-service reporting capabilities.
• Implement row-level security aligned with audit roles.
• Optimize report performance and refresh processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to validate reporting requirements.
• Produce executive-level reporting presentations and visualizations.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelors degree is required.

Experience: 2-4+ years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Power BI
• DAX Development
• Power Query
• SQL and Snowflake
• Data Modeling (Star Schema)
• Row-Level Security
• Performance Optimization
• Healthcare Analytics Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Risk Adjustment or Medicare experience.
• Compliance and audit reporting experience.
• Power Platform integration experience.
• Azure and Snowflake experience.
