Description
Addus Homecare is seeking an accomplished sales executive to lead growth across the state of Illinois within our Home Health and Hospice service lines. As the Area Vice President of Sales, you will shape market strategy, strengthen key referral partnerships, and guide a high-performing sales organization toward ambitious revenue goals. This is a pivotal leadership role for a forward-thinking, data-driven sales leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, field execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Location - Chicago Market
Salary - $150,000 - $180,000 (plus annual bonus)
Essential Functions:
Lead strategic sales planning and forecasting across a multi-state Home Health & Hospice territory
Analyze markets, referral patterns, and competitive trends to drive growth
Build and strengthen relationships with key referral partners (hospitals, physicians, SNFs, senior living, etc.)
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to align sales efforts with service delivery
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team with clear KPIs and accountability
Support territory planning, outreach strategies, and referral conversion efforts
Oversee sales operations, budgets, reporting, and performance management
Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and organizational policies
Maintain professionalism, strong communication, and a culture of collaboration
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in business administration, sales and marketing, or related field; master's in business administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred.
5+ years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
5+ years in sales operations, business planning, or sales support management role.
