    Hospice Aide (STNA/CNA) - Home Care

    Location: Greater Cincinnati Area

    Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide direct personal care to hospice patients in home settings
    • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, and toileting
    • Support patient comfort and safety, including proper use of medical equipment (oxygen, bed rails, etc.)
    • Perform skin care and positioning to prevent breakdown and promote comfort
    • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household tasks as assigned
    • Take and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure) as directed
    • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager
    • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
    • Offer respite care for caregivers when needed
    • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with hospice standards

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 16 years of age
    • Active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
    • Listed on the state nurse aide registry in good standing
    • Current BLS
    • Passionate care to terminally ill patients
    • Strong communication and observational skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care
    • Experience supporting patients with chronic or terminal conditions
