Position Description & Requirements

Position Summary

Interventional Radiologists needed for Florida coast outside of Tampa

26 weeks per year including Q4 IR Call

7 days on/7 days off - M-F onsite, weekend IR call

Opportunity to work up to 13 extra weeks under IC contract available

80% IR with approx. 20% diagnostic

Evening and overnight cases go to Teleradiology team

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is a 455-bed statutory teaching hospital serving Pinellas County from the three campuses. As part of HCA Healthcare and affiliated with the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine GME Programs, we offer 10 residency and fellowship programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We offer a comprehensive range of healthcare services, with expertise in advanced cardiovascular care, including left ventricular assist device (LVAD) procedure and heart transplants. We also provide kidney and liver transplants, along with specialized hepatobiliary, orthopedic, spine, and neurological care.

Located in Largo, Florida, our hospital is located in a region known for its access to the Gulf of Mexico and stunning white sandy beaches. The Largo area is a destination of choice, offering some of the best beaches, fishing, and outdoor recreational activities. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME accredited U.S. training program

Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology required

Fellows and residents welcome to apply

Previous liver/kidney transplant experience preferred

Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology CAQ Preferred

Florida license or ability to obtain a Florida license

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$550,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
