POSITION SUMMARY:

• Performs all mammographic procedures, according to the Department Procedure Manual.u202fu202fu202f
• Appliesu202fappropriate patientu202fcare and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the radiologic procedure.u202fu202fu202f
• Performs and maintains all quality assurance records/controls required by ACR,u202fthe Stateu202fand any other credentialing organizations as required by law.u202f
• Identifiesu202fproper anatomical orientation on all required images and assures proper identificationu202fonu202fall images.u202f
• Practices radiation safety by applying AARA (As Lowu202fAsu202fReasonably Achievable)u202fprincipals.u202fu202f

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).u202fState certification by the Texas Medical Board (T.M.B.)
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and to establish effective working relationships.u202f
• Adheres to all Radiologyu202fPartners policies and procedures, including compliance, HIPAA, OSHA, licensing, and accreditation guidelines.u202fu202fu202f
