Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a .NET AI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC/ New York, NY. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with AI Agents, Core .NET Technologies, and C# to be considered for this role.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

.NET AI Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered agents and enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.

• Build and optimize RAG-based solutions, knowledge retrieval pipelines, and intelligent self-service experiences.

• Integrate AI applications with enterprise systems, APIs, and Microsoft 365 services to streamline business workflows.

• Develop conversational experiences using Microsoft Teams, Adaptive Cards, and agent frameworks.

• Collaborate with product, UX, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance AI agent performance, usability, and response quality through observability and telemetry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development with strong expertise in C# and .NET technologies.

• Proven experience designing and developing AI Agents, including RAG-based solutions, knowledge retrieval systems, and enterprise AI applications.

• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 Agent SDK, Azure AI services, REST API integrations, and Microsoft Teams applications.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
