Job Title: .NET API Engineer Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite 4 days/week) Rate: DOE Industry Preference: Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Nice to have Time Zone Requirement: Near-shore / aligned with SSC partner time zone preferred
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled .NET API Engineer with strong backend development experience to design, build, and support scalable API and integration services. The role involves working across cloud environments and enabling seamless system-to-system integrations between internal platforms and external vendor systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET
Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices
Work on integration platforms connecting internal systems with external vendor systems
Implement and maintain complex business logic across distributed systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data flow and system interoperability
Support cloud-based deployments and operations across Azure and AWS environments
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend services
Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (Core/Framework)
Hands-on experience building backend APIs and microservices
Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms
Strong background in system integration and middleware/platform development
Experience handling complex business rules and transformation logic
Good understanding of distributed systems and REST API design
