.NET Application Architect

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Application Architect to join the team in Stamford, CT. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating, enhancing, and evolving the existing application architecture while collaborating closely with development teams to understand current frameworks, standards, and future-state requirements. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across the Microsoft technology stack and have a proven track record designing scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing application architecture, frameworks, and development standards.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to gain a thorough understanding of current systems and business requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for modernization and optimization initiatives.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure enterprise solutions.
• Lead architecture discussions and establish best practices across development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and solution strategies.
• Ensure alignment with Microsoft platform standards and enterprise architecture principles.

Qualifications
Required:

• 10+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Extensive experience with:
  .NET Framework
  C#
  ASP.NET
  Angular
  Bootstrap
  Microsoft-based technology ecosystems
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns and design principles.
• Experience performing architecture assessments and framework reviews.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, onsite environment.

Preferred (Optional):

• Experience leading application modernization initiatives.
• Cloud experience within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience mentoring development teams and establishing architectural governance.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position starts at $75 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
