Role: .NET developer

Location: Cary, NC (Remote)

Duration: 6 months contract

Rate: $68/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET Core/.NET Framework and C#.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Web Services.
• Build responsive user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, Product Owners, and Architects to deliver business requirements.
• Participate in application design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in SQL Server.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Create technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+ development.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, REST Services, and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Angular (8+), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Strong database development experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework, LINQ, and ORM tools.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
