Our Client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a .Net Developer for their Charlotte, NC location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • . NET Developer within a global technology environment, responsible for modernizing and migrating enterprise applications from SQL Server to PostgreSQL.
  • Work in a hybrid model while collaborating with cross functional teams during day shift to analyze existing database structures, refactor .NET application code, and ensure seamless data migration. Support the full migration lifecycle—including schema conversion, stored procedure rewrites, performance tuning, and validation—while delivering scalable, high quality solutions that enable data driven decision making across the organization.
  • In this role, the .NET Developer will be responsible for supporting the end to end migration of enterprise applications from SQL Server to PostgreSQL while ensuring system stability, performance, and data integrity throughout the transition.
  • The developer will analyze existing database schemas, stored procedures, and application dependencies, then refactor and optimize .NET code to align with PostgreSQL standards and functionality.
  • They will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to validate requirements, design scalable database structures, execute data migration scripts, and troubleshoot compatibility issues. Additionally, the developer will conduct performance tuning, implement best practices for secure and efficient data access, and produce clear technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
  • This role requires strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high quality solutions in a hybrid work environment.
