.Net Developer - Hybrid - Irving, TX

.NET Developer
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid, onsite 3 days per week)
Type: Contract, through March 2027 (40 hrs/week)
Employment: W2 only. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

About the Role
A large healthcare organization is seeking a .NET Developer to design, build, and support web, desktop, and mobile applications. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment and ongoing support, while partnering with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

What You'll Do

• Write clean, scalable code using C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET
• Upgrade, configure, refactor, and debug existing applications
• Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate on software design and architecture
• Test and deploy applications following release and change management procedures
• Provide technical support and serve as a subject matter expert on supported applications
• Document system specifications throughout the SDLC
• Build IT controls into applications to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in technical design and coding as a .NET or Application Developer
• Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and at least one additional object-oriented language or framework such as JavaScript, React.js, or Node.js
• Experience with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and MVC design patterns
• Familiarity with REST and RPC APIs
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, documentation, and change management
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git or SVN
• Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Experience with debugging tools and MS Office, including Visio
• Strong analytical, communication, and independent decision-making skills
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience (highly preferred)
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Database experience beyond SQL Server, such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Exposure to big data tools such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop
