Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and enhance applications using .NET technologies.
- Participate in requirements analysis and technical design.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable application code.
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries.
- Test, deploy, debug, and refactor applications.
- Provide production support and resolve escalated application issues.
- Partner with business and technical teams to identify and resolve problems.
- Maintain documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Role Requirements- 5 to 9 years of application development or related experience.
- Strong hands-on .NET development experience.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Experience supporting production applications.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving application incidents.
- Understanding of Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work onsite in New York 3 days per week.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- Financial services experience.
- Equity or back-office application experience.
- Unix Shell Scripting.
- Perl scripting.
- Windows Batch Scripting.
