Job Type: W2 Contract
Contract Duration: 6 Months, Potential Contract to Hire
Location: Montgomery, Alabama 36104
Work Setting: 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $56.00 - $57.50/hr.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing, and maintenance of systems software. The role will develop, modify, and debug software and stored procedures, maintain technical documentation, troubleshoot software issues, monitor systems, and provide technical support to end users.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using the .NET framework.
• Develop software solutions using .NET Core, MVC, and WebForms.
• Code, test, debug, and maintain software applications.
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code using C#, JavaScript, VB.NET, Bootstrap, SQL, and ASP.NET.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to understand application requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure software functionality and performance.
• Participate in system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Integrate software components with third-party systems and services.
• Develop, modify, and debug stored procedures.
• Diagnose software issues and provide resolutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software applications.
• Monitor systems, report issues, and provide technical support to end users.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing software applications.
• Stay informed about advancements in the .NET framework and related technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with:
  • C#
  • JavaScript
  • VB.NET
  • Bootstrap
  • SQL
  • ASP.NET
• Strong understanding of:
  • .NET Core
  • MVC
  • C#
  • Object-oriented programming
• Proficiency in database design and SQL.
• Experience with web development technologies, including ASP.NET and MVC.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient software solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in .NET development or related technologies.
• Experience with front-end technologies including:
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Bootstrap
  • JavaScript
• Knowledge of database systems, cloud computing platforms, and SQL.
• Familiarity with software version control systems, including DevOps.
• Understanding of security best practices in software development.
• Experience working within a team.
