.NET Developer (only W2)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with 8%2B years of experience to build and enhance secure, scalable, and high-performance applications within the financial services / insurance domain. The role requires strong expertise in .NET technologies, Microsoft Azure, and SQL Server, along with experience in developing systems that handle sensitive financial data, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core / .NET 6%2B
• Build cloud-native and distributed systems leveraging Microsoft Azure
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Implement solutions using Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Storage
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data security, and governance standards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate financial/insurance requirements into technical solutions
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for continuous delivery
• Perform code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentor team members
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability and resilience
• Contribute to application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in: C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, .NET Core / .NET 6%2B
• Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps, Storage, Service Bus)
• SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning)

Experience with:

• Microservices & distributed architecture
• REST API design and integration
• Entity Framework or other ORM tools

Strong understanding of:

• OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns
• Application security, authentication & authorization
• Experience with Git/version control systems
• Domain-Specific Expectations (Financial / Insurance)
• Experience working with policy management, claims processing, billing, or underwriting systems
• Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., secure data handling)
• Ability to work with high-volume transactional systems
• Exposure to audit, risk, and compliance-driven development environments

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, Kafka)
• Experience with Angular or React
• Exposure to API security standards (OAuth2, JWT)

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Certifications: (Nice to Have)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
