Check receipts against approved purchase orders and packing lists for the Retail department. Ensure that the proper data is entered into the inventory system.Ensure proper tagging of products with the correct stock numbers. Supervise the storage of all merchandise and ensure that such products are properly located and can be easily obtained when needed.Work with all departments to coordinate dock usage and staging for events and special projects.Daily pick‑up and delivery of mail, FedEx and other small deliveries.Must be self‑motivated to work independently as well as disciplined and reliable.Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Must be 18 years or older.Demonstrated ability to lead, build, and motivate a team.Previous supervisory experience preferred.Three (3) years previous experience in warehouse operations preferred.Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack).Must have a valid driver's license and a clean record in the three (3) most recent years.Able to provide exceptional customer service and problem solve without assistance.Must be comfortable working with Microsoft office products including Outlook and other inventory management programs.Qualified candidate should have strong organizational skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.REQUIREMENTS:Successful completion of pre‑employment criminal background check and motor‑vehicle operator check.Ability to work in all weather conditions.Physical strength, including extended periods of sitting on forklift, lifting of 50+ pounds, standing for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, bending and stooping.Note: Position will involve exposure to inclement weather, dust, potentially dangerous and unpredictable animal species, and potentially dangerous machinery, restraint devices and toxic chemicals and/or drugs.
