The Hotel Indigo Austin Downtown – University and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin Downtown – University are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional overnight guest service whilemaintaining the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's daily financial and operational records. This position serves as the primary point of contact for guests during overnight hours, managing check-ins, check-outs, guest requests, and resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner. In addition to delivering outstanding hospitality, the Night Auditor is responsible for completing the nightly audit process, balancing daily transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring all systems are accurately reconciled to support a smooth transition into the next business day. This role requires excellent customer service, strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Located in the heart of Downtown Austin and just a few minutes from University of Texas, the Hotel Indigo/Holiday Inn Express and Suites Downtown Austin - University are looking for our next great team member to join our Front Office Team and fill the role of Night Auditor.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

You will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly during the overnight shift. You will check in guests, answer phones and take reservations, respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies, process invoices, reconcile accounts, balance the cash drawer and log receipts, Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts, keep accurate financial records and ledgers, help prepare for forecasts and audits.

Does this sound like you?

You have at least 1-2 years of hotel front office experience or prior experience as a Night Auditor. You have an eye for detail and a passion to provide quality of service to our guests. Prior experience with Opera a plus, excellent computer, customer service and communication skills.
