Pay Rate: $80-$90/hour

Summary:

• Location: Avila Beach, CA
• Duration: 9 Months
• Work Schedule: Alternating 4/10 Alternate Work Schedule
• Open to local and non-local candidates
• Non-local candidates must be on-site for assignment duration
• Approved mob/demob expense of $1,000 for non-local candidates
• Daily per diem approved for work week per GSA.gov rate if candidate is not local
• Unescorted access badging at DCPP

Responsibilities:

• Implement and document the SAT process
• Analyze subject material for new and revised training
• Use design process to determine job performance measures
• Develop lessons for classroom and laboratory settings
• Execute developed training and ensure facilities and resources are adequate
• Evaluate training process by collecting data and feedback
• Promote industrial safety and reinforce management expectations
• Apply human performance tools and provide coaching
• Include ALARA topics in classroom and lab discussions
• Encourage and facilitate employee involvement in the training process
• Contribute to outage performance and duration
• Obtain and maintain instructor qualifications and technical proficiency
• Perform management observations and emergency response organization duties

Requirements:

• 5 years of maintenance experience at DCPP's maintenance or training department OR 5 years of experience in maintenance or training from another company

Preferred Skills:

• 5 years Electrical Maintenance Experience at another Nuclear Power Plant OR 7 years other Power Plant Electrical Experience OR Completed Electrical Apprenticeship OR Electrical Engineering Degree & 1 year Nuclear Power Plant Experience
• Instructor experience in adult learning environment with demonstrated experience in instructional development
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365 Suite
• Proficient in Vision Application Suite
• Basic familiarity with SAP
