Bilingual Onsite Manager
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent automotive manufacturer in the Birmingham, AL area, is seeking a hands-on Bilingual Onsite Manager to support approximately 40 employees in the K1/K2 buildings. This position is based onsite at themanufacturing facility and serves as the primary point of contact for both employees and the client.
Bilingual Onsite Manager Job Summary:Pay: $20.00 per hour
Hours: Approximately 50-60 hours per week
Primary Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Schedule may change based on the needs of the client and employees. Flexible availability, including possible night-shift support, is required.
- Supervise and support approximately 40 employees in the K1/K2 production areas
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for employees and client management
- Communicate work assignments, schedules, expectations, and operational updates in English and Spanish
- Answer employee questions regarding attendance, timekeeping, payroll, and workplace policies
- Monitor attendance and maintain accurate employee and operational reports
- Assist with new-hire orientation, onboarding, and training
- Work closely with plant management to resolve staffing and production concerns
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and workplace standards
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and respond promptly to employee and client needs
Bilingual Onsite Manager Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, is required
- Previous supervisory or management experience is required
- Manufacturing or automotive production experience is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including email, attendance tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Ability to spend most of the shift walking and working on the production floor
- Flexible availability based on operational needs
