Painter 2nd Shift (Powder & Wet Paint)

Location: Kennesaw, Georgia

American Made Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturer to find an experienced Painter to join their 2nd shift production team. This position is ideal for someone skilled in powder coating, wet paint, or both, with a passion for delivering high-quality finishes on precision products. You'll work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, ensuring every piece meets exacting standards before it heads to the customer.

Schedule:

• Monday Thursday: 1:30 PM 10:30 PM
• Friday: 1:30 PM 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or repairing as needed.
• Operate spray guns, powder coating systems, and curing ovens safely and efficiently.
• Apply powder or wet paint coatings to achieve uniform coverage and smooth finishes.
• Inspect painted parts for quality, ensuring adherence to color, texture, and thickness specifications.
• Perform touch-ups and corrections as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and painting areas in clean, safe, and ready-to-use condition.
• Follow production schedules, work orders, and safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet shift production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with powder coating and/or wet paint application techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under production deadlines.
• Reliability and commitment to the scheduled 2nd shift hours.
• Experience with both powder and wet paint applications.
• Understanding of surface preparation, paint curing, and finishing standards.
