Overview: We are excited to announce an internal opportunity for a Painter in Huntley, IL. The Painter is responsible for applying paint, powder coat paint, and coatings to various industrial products and components in a manufacturing environment. This role involves preparing surfaces, selecting, and mixing paints, and ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety and production standards.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
- Mask and tape areas to protect surfaces that should not be painted.
- Inspect and repair surfaces as needed to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Hang and/or remove parts on conveyor system for powder coat application process.
- Mix paints, primers, and other coatings according to specifications and prepare paint equipment.
- Apply paint and powder coat paint using various methods including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Achieve desired color and finish by adjusting paint consistency and application techniques.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of paint usage, inventory, and work performed.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed to support overall workflow.
- Maintain all in-process paint specific inspections.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of painting experience.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to use time productively with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to safety.
