Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Job Goal The Kitchen Helper is responsible for the uninterrupted and efficient serving of meals and cleanup, ensuring standards of effectiveness, efficiency, sanitation and safety, consistent with the personnel and resources available.

Essential Functions Serves accurate portions in a consistent and courteous manner on the serving line. Assists with food preparation prior to the serving time. Performs all aspects of clean up, including the serving line, dishwasher and pot sink and other work areas as assigned. Follows local, state and federal guidelines for food production, handling and sanitation. Follows local, state and federal guidelines for safety standards and procedures. Assists in the kitchen, where needed. Regular and timely attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.
