Parts Clerk 2nd Shift Columbia, SC, USAFull TimeFresh Express offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees which includes health, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, life insurance, wellness perks, and other voluntary benefits.The Parts Clerk will maintain and control incoming parts and repairs in day-to-day operation, ensure proper inventory, and continue to improve the quality of services and deliveries provided by suppliers and OEM.Position FunctionsMaintain Maintenance Inventory Stock room - ensure proper inventoryManage EAM D7i system counts and rotation of the stock itemsOrganize stock room and utilize proper square footagePrepare parts for projects and PM'sContinually evaluate and improve stock availabilityMaintain proper level of the spare stock parts and suppliesProvide supervisor with cost reductions on a weekly basisGenerate monthly inventory report and other activities reports in stock roomMust ensure compliance with all Fresh Express policies and procedures (Personal Safety, etc.) as requiredPerform other duties as assignedPerform parts sourcing and walk-down activitiesPerform receiving activities (opening boxes, checking packing slips, and noting discrepancies)Labeling inventories and storage locationsPerform parts picking, kitting, and staging activitiesPosition Skills & Qualifications DesiredPhysical Requirements: the employee is required to stand for extended periods of time (duration of the shift, 8 hours or more); walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; bend continuously; or crawl. The incumbent must be able to climb stairs and ladders or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift; and is occasionally required to sit. The employee must be able to push/pull/lift and/or move 50 pounds.Work Environment: The employee is occasionally exposed to wet/cold conditions of 34 36 degrees and also at times hot conditions.
