    People Soft - HR Analyst

    Location: Portland, OR

    Rate: DOE $/hr. Position Type: contract Interview Process: Phone Followed by F2F

    Description

    MUST HAVE People Soft expertise with an HR background to be considered. Candidates who have PeopleSoft Enterprise Certification in Human Capital Management and/or Human Resources Consultant Certified Expert will be highly considered for this position.

    Purpose of the Position: Responsible for supporting Mercedes Benz US International PeopleSoft HRIS data administration, controls and processes. Provide HRIS support, integration and lead projects and initiatives. Coordinate with all functional areas within HR to assure that technology related needs have been adequately addressed. Coordinate with IT for development, interfacing, database, and networking support.

    Essential Functions: (List all basic responsibilities related to the purpose of the position)

    Design, develop, implement, maintain and update HR systems/programs/reports to optimize the system value.

    1. Research and document HR processes which have been identified as needing evaluation and recommend automated solutions to improve efficiency.

    2. Support data integrity reviews, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities.

    3. Lead HRIS related control items by working with IT, HR, Benefits and Payroll clients on requirements, development and testing.

    4. Support various processes such as Benefit Administration, Retro-Pay, Retro-Ben, and Absence Management processes.

    5. Support all related tables (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, etc.)

    6. Support internal HRIS Specialist in liaison function for all internal customers' requests, including writing queries to retrieve data for Accounting, Benefits, Compensation, Team Relations and the Management Team.

    7. Assist with the creation of materials and conduct training for End Users.

    8. Support and troubleshoot Benefits and Payroll processing issues as needed.

    9. Support daily/weekly processes, transactions, mass changes, data entry, ad hoc reports, etc. as needed.

    10. Apply a continuous improvement approach to all work processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related area or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years PeopleSoft HRIS Administration experience (version 9.2 or greater required) with 1 year of project lead experience
