Pipe Fitter - PM Shift

Pay:Starting at $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Location:Tulsa, OK 74107
Shift:Monday-Friday | 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join a growing fabrication team in Tulsa on the second shift. This position is responsible for fitting, aligning, assembling, and tack welding pipe components according to blueprints and fabrication specifications while maintaining strict quality and production standards.

The ideal candidate has strong pipe fitting experience, can work independently, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous pipe fitting experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders
• Experience fitting and tack welding pipe assemblies independently
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication, layout, and assembly techniques
• Ability to accurately use tape measures, levels, squares, and other precision measuring tools
• Experience operating hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and production work orders
• Fit, align, and assemble pipe, fittings, and related components according to specifications
• Tack weld pipe assemblies in preparation for final welding
• Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipe materials for fabrication
• Verify dimensions, fit-up, and overall quality before final welding
• Safely operate grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements
• Meet production schedules while maintaining high workmanship standards

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous pipe welding experience
• Experience working in industrial fabrication or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of various pipe materials, fittings, and fabrication methods
• Familiarity with pressure vessel or process piping fabrication

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable working around heavy steel, fabrication equipment, sparks, and industrial machinery
