This Planner I will independently develop and update detailed work order packages for preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring safe plant operations. Responsibilities include technical support, field investigations, resource identification, and translating engineering changes into actionable plans. This full‑time position is located in Richland, WA.Pay rate: $34.06 - $59.82Sick Leave: One hour of paid sick leave for every 40‑hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90‑days of employment)EAP: Employee Assistance ProgramBenefit Options: Medical, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short‑Term Disability, Voluntary Long‑Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked - employer match up to 4%)Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access PerksResponsibilitiesIndependently plan work order packages for preventive and corrective maintenance.Ensure safe and efficient plant operation through well‑prepared work packages.Align work packages with approved procedures, instructions, and guides.Support forced and refuel outage work as directed by Work Management.Prepare detailed work packages including: historical data, plant impact, post‑maintenance testing and clear written instructions.Update work packages to address condition reports, deficiencies, or enhancements.Translate engineering change documents into actionable work packages.Ensure packages meet industry and plant standards.Provide technical expertise on systems and plant equipment.Assist craft and craft supervisors during task execution.Conduct field investigations and walkdowns for problem identification.Identify required parts and materials.Specify special tools and equipment.Include supporting documentation such as procedures, weld records, and permits.Prepare work packages based on established priorities and schedules.Provide detailed planning instructions for major maintenance activities.Assist in preparing design change packages when appropriate.Incorporate feedback on work package enhancements promptly.Ensure continuous alignment with operational standards and best practices.RequirementsA bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical area (i.e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning).OR An associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years of experience in a technical area (i.e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning).OR A high school diploma or GED and technical training or education similar to that acquired through an in‑grade apprenticeship program for maintenance related work and 4 years of experience in a technical area (i.e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning).OR A high school diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in a technical area (i.e. Mechanical or I&C).Able to communicate effectively in writing and orally.Able to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.Able to obtain Planner I qualification.Mechanical and I&C background.Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
