    PositionPlanner Scheduler IILocationSan Diego, CADuration1 Year ContractHoursStart Time: 08:00 AMEnd Time: 05:00 PMTotal Hours/week: 41.25 (Mon-Fri)QualificationsA BS/BA in Business Administration, Logistics or related field, and a minimum of 1 year MPS/MRP planning experience is required.Experience in biological reagent manufacturing is preferred.Certification in APICS, CPIM or CIRM is preferred.Must have experience with MRP systems and Microsoft Windows.Knowledge of integrated Supply Chain systems (i.e., SAP) a plus.Requires analytical, planning, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the conversion of a rough‑cut capacity master production schedule into a detailed production plan, after analysis of lot size rules, sales trends, demand forecast, material availability and manufacturing capacity in support of a reagent manufacturer.Create/release production orders and partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Logistics in the prioritization and expediting of the orders.Key contact responsible for the accurate reporting of product status for back orders.Full ownership of products from beginning of order release until products are in stock. Accountable for maintaining the integrity of MRP planning parameters (costing lot size, lead times, days of supply, etc.).Provide data for Key Performance Metrics (root causes of back orders and excess/expired inventory, schedule compliance, projected inventory at risk/stock loss, etc.) as determined by management.Communicate significant current/potential supply performance problems (capacity imbalance, noncompliant material, material shortage, supplier delays, etc.) to Supply Chain network and operations.Able to drive decisions to minimize excess inventory by monitoring impact of engineering change requests, production over yields, sales forecasting errors, lot size changes and material volume purchases.#J-18808-Ljbffr
