Description The College is seeking qualified Adjunct AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructors to provide instruction on an as-needed basis. This position supports workforce development and community training initiatives by delivering high-quality BLS courses in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Deliver AHA BLS Provider courses in accordance with established guidelines. • Facilitate skills practice, testing, and written evaluations. • Maintain accurate course records and submit required documentation in a timely manner. • Ensure proper setup, use, and maintenance of instructional equipment. • Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Knowledge of current American Heart Association BLS standards and course requirements. • Strong instructional and communication skills. • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Education and Experience • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification in good standing. • Certification preferably aligned with South Regional AHEC, or willingness to complete secondary alignment. • Unofficial transcripts must be included with your online application before submission or sent directly to Human Resources immediately after applying.
