Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Greets customers and takes food and beverage orders in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. • Prepares food and beverage orders and delivers them in a timely manner in accordance with the venues standards. • Monitors guests needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled. • Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have. • Performs cash handling tasks, as required and in accordance with the cash handling procedures. • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of guest and work areas, including tables, chairs, counters, display shelves and storage as assigned. • Performs all side work and stocking of supplies in accordance with venue standards. • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Must have previous cash handling and Micros register experience. • Previous bartending experience is a plus. • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. • Must be 21 years of age. • Must be willing to participate in on-going training in the beverage field. • Must have knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions. • Must be able to work independently, with little supervision. • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. • Must adhere to uniform requirements.

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:

• Must be able to work in excessive heat for extended periods of time. • Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets. • Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters. • Must possess the manual dexterity to complete required "side work". • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
