Role Summary: A porter plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and restaurant. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude, strong commitment to service, and excellent communication skills. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented and encourages a hospitality driven environment. Open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area in the restaurant
• Receive, unpack, and store all restaurant deliveries
• Support inventory management by organizing the food storage accurately
• Restock all kitchen and restaurant equipment in venue
• Assist the venue team as needed
• Other maintenance tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must be available at weekends and nights
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs
• Must be able to work in hot/cold, and/or wet areas
