Prep Cook

We have an opening for full and part time Prep Cook positions.

Location: Delta One Lounge - Terminal 4 JFK International A, Jamaica, NY 11430. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full and part time; Monday through Sunday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous cooking and food preparation experience is required.

Fixed Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Essential duties and responsibilities include obtaining daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef, preparing items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes, completing and following daily production worksheets and waste log sheets, operating and cleaning equipment per department procedures after each use, storing, labeling and dating all food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines, taking orders from customers and preparing items requiring short preparation time, serving customers in an efficient and friendly manner, completing orders from steam tables and grill and serving customers at multiple stations, using approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control, operating and cleaning equipment per department procedures after each use, storing, labeling and dating all food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply, resolving customer concerns, and performing other duties as assigned.
