Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.If you want to put your talent, experience, and passions to use and be part of something greater, you are in the right place.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Supply Chain Logistics Specialist - Supply Integrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Rancho Bernardo, CA or Grand Forks AFB, ND .AccomplishAs the Principal Supply Chain Logistics Specialist - Supply Integrator you will be the primary coordinator to ensure the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between Contractor Inventory Control Point and Fleet Management in support of customer requirements. Lead all aspects of Supply Chain activities relative to assigned Site to satisfy Spares, Repairs, and Mod/Retrofit requirements to achieve combat readiness and sustain operations, using the logistics business processes which are standardized throughout the Air Force. Understand and comply with all Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) related prime SOW requirements, including AF-MAN 23-110 and AF-PAM 23-118, as well as all NGC Policies and Procedures. Support all MICAPs as Required, COMSEC and Security requirements as they relate to Spares & coordinate all movement of GFE with traffic and transportation.Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.Additionally, you should have experience with local Depot Level support efforts, as well as provide support to the Site for TCTO activities to include kit ordering and deliveries.Roles And ResponsibilitiesServes as a technical consultant to management regarding logistics policies, plans, and objectivesConducts specialized tasks such as work order management for field repairs by opening work orders for Field Service Representatives (FSR), updating during repair activities and cycles, and closing work orders at the completion of repair activitiesMaintains accountability of spares and facilitates material distribution in support of field repairsCollects and reports technical data, metrics, and status of operationsAttend boards and meetings to track the disposition of materialsMay account for and maintain records of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)Provides specialized expertise while operating information management systems to maintain records and provide status and reportingReports cost and schedule information for items dispositioned for vendor repairRepresents the organization as a prime contact to customer counterpartDevelops and deliver presentations to program and customer leadershipDemonstrates ability to properly package and handle equipment during shipping and receivingSupports material fielding with inventories and handover documentationSucceedThe individual we seek will be self‑motivated, proactive, goal‑oriented to help us grow our services, become even better at what we do and will possess the following qualifications.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in Supply/Material Management, Item Management and/or Repair Management or a Master's degree and 4 years of relevant experience.Understanding of the material replenishment system and technical attributes of supply managementMinimum of 3 years of experience in the performance of sparing operations and material controlExpert level of ability in estimating resource requirementsDemonstrated ability to work across multiple Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Logistics disciplinesProficient in MS Office ProductsYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance or higher, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.Preferred QualificationsAir Force item management experienceMaterial Management System and SAP Procurement System.Understanding Air Force Cataloging systems and codes also preferredExperience in receiving, maintaining, and the accountability of GFEThrive with UsAt Northrop Grumman we are invested in the growth and well‑being of all our employees. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
